Designed for anyone working with sculpting nail forms on Aleana silicone practice hands and fingers.

What is FormsFix?

It is a clear, disposable finger sleeve designed to be used with Aleana Hand Heat Gun. When heated, FormsFix will shrink and mould to the size, shape, and groves of a finger, creating a very tight, mould-like fit to the silicone skin. 

The process of attaching FormsFix to your Aleana hand or fingers is easy, fast and most importantly it provides a solid and reliable platform for fitting various types of sculpting nail forms. 

How to use FormsFix

  • Plug in the heat gun, retract the metal stand and set it aside. Don’t turn it on yet.
  • Cut the long FormsFix sleeve between the Aleana Hand logo prints, this will ensure the perfect size for a stable fit. Place the remaining FormsFix sleeve away from your working space to avoid accidental contact with hot air.
  • Slide the individual FormsFix you cut onto the silicone finger positioning the sealed edges on the sides of the finger.
  • Ensure to leave 3mm of the FormsFix below the cuticle, protruding onto the nail. The FormsFix material shrinks during the heating step, it will become shorter and the edge of the material will end just above the cuticle after the heating step is complete.
  • Turn on the heat gun and start heating the FormsFix from the back of the fingers. Palm side up when working on a hand.
  • Next, heat the sides of the FormsFix, the sealed edges.
  • Lastly, heat the FormsFix at the front of the finger (the side of nail tips facing up.) Palm side down when working on a hand.
  • Heat carefully and direct the hot air flow away from the nail tips, prolonged exposure of hot air or too close proximity to nail tips to may deform them.
  • Switch the heat gun off and set it aside on the metal stand retracted earlier.Do not touch the nozzle as it will become very hot.
  • Fit the nail forms and enjoy your practice!
  • After you finished, gently pull the FormsFix and dispose of it. FormsFix is 100% recyclablesmiley
