Striping Tape

Striping Tape is a type of narrow tape that you can apply to the nail. We offer Striping Tape in two varieties: Metallic Look and Glitter Look. It is available in three different widths. Perfect for creating unique line patterns.

How to Use Striping Tape

• Finish the nail up to the color layer.
• Lightly buff the nail with a fine buffer. Be careful not to remove the color.
• Cut a piece of striping tape from the roll and place it on the nail. Ensure that the striping tape will be completely encapsulated by the next layer. This helps prevent the tape from lifting.
• Apply a layer of Build-A-Base over the striping tape for extra protection.
• Finish with a top coat of your choice.

Combine with Other Techniques

Striping tape can be used as a nail art design on its own, but it also looks great when combined with other nail art techniques such as foils, marble designs, ombres, and more.
