Sculpting gel, also known as builder gel, is essential in any nail studio. It’s indispensable when you want to extend or correct natural nails. Builder gels can be used for all lengths, both long and short. Especially for medium-length or long nails, the strength of a sculpting gel ensures that you can guarantee your clients beautiful nails that stay perfect for 3 to 4 weeks.

Different Types of Viscosity

At Ugly Duckling Nails, we offer a variety of Sculpting Gels:

• Medium Viscosity, Self-Leveling Gels: These gels are easy to apply as they naturally level themselves. With the right application technique, you can build gel nails smoothly and efficiently using these gels.
• Thicker Gels: For those nail stylists who prefer a firmer gel rather than a more flowing one, we have options with a thicker consistency. These gels are less self-leveling, so you’ll need to pay a bit more attention to filing.
• Jelly Gels: We also offer a selection of Jelly Gels, such as Fair-y Fufu, Thickest Clear, and Extreme White. These gels are ideal for creating special shapes, like Russian Almond or Stiletto XXL. They do not level at all and stay exactly as you place them, making them perfect for reverse techniques.
