Urban Nails Foil Gel

Foil Gel is a gel with an extremely strong adhesive layer, making it very easy to apply foils. The clear Foil Gel in the bottle is used for design foils that cover the entire nail, while the pigmented Foil Gel in the pots can be used for drawing and then finishing your design with regular Nail Art foils.

Procedure

Nail art foil is a thin, decorative film available in various patterns, colors, and metallic effects.

Foil gel acts as an adhesive between the nail and the foil.

  • Apply the Foil Gel to the painted nail and cure for 60 to 90 seconds. Allow the Foil Gel to cool for optimal adhesion.
  • Once the Foil Gel is applied, gently place the nail art foil on the gel and press it firmly.
  • The foil adheres to the gel, transferring the design or pattern onto the nail.
  • After the nail art foil is securely applied, finish with a top layer such as Natural Base from Ugly Duckling Nails or Rubberbase from Urban Nails, and a Top Coat to protect the design and give the nail a smooth and glossy finish.
This finishing layer also helps to keep the foil in place and ensures the design lasts longer.

Pigmented and Clear Foil Gel

If you only want to apply the foil on the nail without a specific design, then Clear Foil Gel (the one in the bottle) is what you need.

If you want to create a design such as curls or lines, it is better to use the Pigmented Foil Gels (the ones in the jar). These Foil Gels are designed for creating very fine and detailed designs, which can then be finished with foil or chrome pigments.
