With Top Coat
Tacky Top Coat is the absolute favorite when working with glitters. You can sprinkle the glitters onto the wet topcoat and cure.
The sticky layer of this Tacky Top Coat allows you to easily and smoothly finish your creation with any desired topcoat, such as No Wipe Top Coat or Matte Top Coat.
Yes, it might sound a bit contradictory to apply a matte finish over beautiful glitters, but the effect is so special, you have to try it.
Want to enhance the beautiful sparkle of your glitters? Opt for a shiny Top Coat or even an extra Glitter Top Coat, like the Holo No Wipe Top Coat from Ugly Duckling Nails.
With Rubberbase, Build-A-Base, or Sculpting Gel
For full-cover bling nails, the inlay technique is highly recommended.
Step by Step:
- Finish the nail up to the Basecoat.
- Apply the desired color Gel Polish or Color Gel.
- Apply a base layer of Rubberbase, Natural Base, Build-A-Base, or Sculpting Gel.
- Sprinkle the desired amount of glitters into the wet Base Coat.
- Cure and then build further on the glitters. This allows you to file the nail after applying the glitters, resulting in a smooth surface without any protruding edges.
- Finish the nail with a topcoat of your choice.
